We're just weeks away from the Everything Pumpkin Festival at Pioneer Park from 12–7 PM, and it's shaping up to be a fall tradition the whole family won't want to miss. The library is excited to be part of this wonderful event by coordinating the Scarecrow Contest and the Tall Tales contest.

The festival has something for everyone: the WOW Truck, a 50/50 raffle, food and drink trucks, live music, a pumpkin-themed dessert silent auction, face painting, a photo booth, and the National Guard climbing wall. Kids can enjoy games throughout the day, including sack races, GrannyPants, tug of war, and the 3-legged race, plus a visit to the Days Creek FFA pumpkin patch, and the Bergin College dogs will show off their skills. And of course, don't miss the contests: Giant Pumpkin, Tall Tales, Scarecrow, Pie Eating, Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Painting, and the Kids Costume Parade.

A quick note: the library will be closed that day so our staff and volunteers can be out at the festival helping bring it all to life. We hope to see you there!
