Join us for a fun and informative Pumpkin Growing Workshop on Saturday, April 4th, at 11 am, presented by Joanne Gordon.

With over 40 years of gardening experience, Joanne is passionate about teaching others the art of organic gardening right here in Canyonville! After running a successful plant stand and garden center, she now focuses on growing plants for fundraisers and friends, as well as her own vegetable garden.

Joanne’s passion for pumpkins led her to participate in the city's Pumpkin Celebration, where she grew a 540-pound prize-winning pumpkin in 2009. The community is working to revive this event.

Join us as she hosts a pumpkin growing workshop, where you'll learn tips and tricks for cultivating your own giant pumpkin!

Children are welcome to bring an adult and take home their own pumpkin seed starter kit, while supplies last.
